After steering
the machine into
the rows by using
the control panel,
the sensors will
keep the hoe
straight on.
A steel ball
in running in
the track, which
was built by
a seeder before.
The corrections
will be sent
to the hydraulic
cylinders of
the guiding wheels.
Automatic
camera guiding
A plant camera
is guiding the
machine along
the plant rows.
The guiding impuls
is transmitted
to two hydraulic
steering wheels
(bottom left).
The only input
the monitor panel
needs is row
distance and
camera height.
The system can
be delivered
with one (small
row distances
and very regular
plant positions
within the row)
or two cameras.
